Baltic Asia Connected International Team has spent over 20 years building bridges between Europe and Asia, working on international business, education, and sourcing projects.

The Managing Partner of Baltic Asia Connect, Sigita Gailuma, is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in international business, education, and entrepreneurship.

She holds two master’s degrees — in  Business Administration and Human Resource Management —  has built her career across Latvia, the USA, China, and Southeast Asia.

Sigita represents the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) in China, Malaysia, and the Philippines, where she supports European companies in entering Asian markets and Asian businesses in building long-term partnerships in Europe. In parallel, she serves as a lecturer on international business at Riga Technical University.

Her entrepreneurial background includes founding eco-friendly fashion brands and managing sustainable design companies in Europe and China. She has also been recognized with multiple awards in both China and Latvia, including the Women Entrepreneurship Star Award and the Latvia Export and Innovation Award.

Sigita is an Advisory Member of the G100 Global Advisory Council, a worldwide network of influential women leaders fostering cross-border collaboration, gender equality, and economic empowerment. She also serves as a Foreign Advisor to the China–Central and Eastern Europe Vocational Education and Training (CEE–VET) Alliance, advancing talent exchange and educational cooperation.

In 2025, she was appointed as an Independent Board Director of Mego Power, a Chinese renewable energy company preparing for a NASDAQ IPO.
